Stamford Town Bowls Club

Exeter Gardens, Stamford, PE9 2RN

FORMED as long ago as 1913, the club, situated in Exeter Gardens, currently has 47 playing members and 3 social members. They have three teams playing in the Stamford & District Bowls League playing on Mondays and Fridays. The Crusaders team plays in Division 1 and the Aztecs and Dragons teams play in Division 3.  

The club also has a team playing on a Saturday, in the Division 1 of the Peterborough Weekend League, together with a Club 55 team in the Premier Division. Their ever popular Friendly team has matches arranged on Wednesday afternoons and continues to thrive. 

The club hosts an annual Gala Day in June, on Sunday 8th this year.

Roll-ups will be held every Thursday at 6.30 pm for anyone new to the game or, indeed, more experienced players.

Monthly get-togethers and fund-raising activities are arranged throughout the winter months.
