Carlby Bowls Club

The Avenue, Carlby, Stamford, PE9 4NA

FOUNDED in 1987, the club currently has 32 playing members and 3 social members. In 2019, the Corgis won promotion to the first division of the Stamford & District Bowls League, but have just been relegated to Division 2, and the Bees are in the third division. The club also plays in Over-60s Friendlies on Wednesday afternoons, arranged by our Friendlies Captain, George Barber.

The club holds its own club singles, doubles and triples competitions on two Sundays during the season.

The club, situated in The Avenue, is always looking for new members. Anyone who might be interested is invited along to roll-ups on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons; always check with the Secretary or Team Captains if you would like a roll-up. Just bring along a pair of flat shoes and they will provide the rest.
